Warbler Watch, and the Broad-winged Hawk Survey, in
order to assist ornithologists "define bird ranges,
populations, migration pathways, and habitat needs."

Tree of Life, The - site organizes,
surveys, and displays the diversity, evolutionary history,
and characteristics of all groups of living organisms. The
great Tree has roots, a trunk, stems, and branches that
connect each organism to all others. Coordinated and
edited by David R. Maddison of the University of
Arizona, this attractive and expertly managed site has over
1300 pages housed on 20 computers in four countries,
and is authored by biologists from around the world.
Originally intended for professionals, the site has evolved

Women of the West Museum - "purpose is to discover and explore
the continuing role of women in the development of the
American West." The first online exhibit is There Are No
Renters Here: Women's Lives on the Sod House Frontier,
which examines the life of homesteaders in 1870s
Nebraska through the photographs and letters of the
Oblinger family. There is also a Woman of the Week
feature, an Educational Resource Center, descriptions of
the museum programs, and a story quilt with each block
describing the life of a pioneer woman.
Your Country - site that allows you to easily compare the various characteristics of any two countries. Make your choices, select the
comparison (birth rate, exports, total land area, literacy, etc.) and the
site does the rest. Did you know that the birth rate of Cambodia is
1.33 times that of Zimbabwe? Or that the United States has *far more*
unpaved airports than Australia? How about this: while Namibia is over a
thousand times larger (in total land area) than Singapore, the southern
African nation has less than half of Singapore's population.
